The Wacky Club committee has been looking into alternative ways of managing the Club to ease some of the immediate reliance on the committee, to provide better support to the staff in terms of the day-to-day operational management of the Club and to increase their opportunities for professional development.

We have discussed a number of options, such as approaching an external provider who could run the Club on our behalf bringing their expertise and resources to maintain our high standards and support staff development.

To this end, we have now invited Panash Shah from Cambridge Kids Club (CKC) to give a presentation to parents and other Wacky Club stakeholders on Wednesday 29th January, 8pm at the Wacky Club. CKC successfully runs a number of after-school clubs in and around Cambridge and having spoken to Panash at length we feel that their approach would be a good fit for Wacky. But we'd like to give you the opportunity to hear from him and have a say too.

Any parents who use the Club for after-school care and/or during the school holidays are invited to attend, and we will be notifying other Wacky stakeholders including the school, school governors, and Rainbow pre-school staff and committee. We hope that many of you will be able to come, ask questions, and make a positive contribution as we consider this important change for Wacky. Please do not hesitate to contact me or approach another member of the Wacky Club committee if you have any questions at this time.

Kind regards,
